This photograph, taken by my wife, Theresa, in Grand Teton National Park, captures the experience behind my photography.
From the mountains and geothermal wonders of Yellowstone and Grand Teton to the marshes of the Carolina coast, the wetlands and tropical beauty of Florida and the Keys, and the forests and foothills of northeast Georgia, photography has given me the opportunity to spend time in some truly remarkable places. As I continue exploring new destinations, including Costa Rica and Alaska, that journey continues to expand.
Every image is more than a photograph—it’s a reminder of the beauty, diversity, and fragility of the natural world. My hope is that these images encourage not only appreciation for these wild places, but also a desire to protect them for generations to come.
The Tools Behind the Images:
I photograph exclusively with the OM SYSTEM Micro Four Thirds platform, a system widely recognized for delivering professional-level image quality in a compact, lightweight package. My camera bodies are the OM SYSTEM OM-1 flagship models, which provide advanced autofocus, exceptional stabilization, and the speed and durability needed for wildlife and outdoor photography.
The portability of the system allows me to carry professional-level reach into the field while traveling comfortably. My dedicated wildlife lens is the M.Zuiko 150-400mm f/4.5 TC1.25x PRO, providing exceptional reach in a highly portable design. I also use several additional OM SYSTEM PRO lenses covering a range of focal lengths and photographic situations, giving me the flexibility to capture everything from expansive landscapes to detailed wildlife images.
